The Power of Someone Praying for you

It is important to pray for yourself because you know yourself better and you know what is in your heart, and so does God. However, it is even far important when someone prays for you. Someone may pray for you while with you or away from you. In this context I will talk about someone praying for you while away from you, or someone praying for you while you are not aware.

When someone prays for you the doors of blessings in your life that were closed are opened, and your lost fortune, health, ministry, family, etc are restored (Job 42:10). So how does someone pray for you when you are not aware? In most cases the Holy Spirit prompts people to pray for you, and you can see results in areas you did not pray for, or in areas you found difficult to break through.

When someone else prays for you, you get strengthened, and he or she kind of teams up with you knowing or unknowingly to present your petition before God.  You alone could chase a thousand but  two  of   you could put ten thousand to flight as God empowers you (Deuteronomy 32:30).

One of the secret ways to keep someone somewhere praying for you is to learn to give to others and impacting other people’s lives. Clothes those naked, feed the hungry, comfort the hurting, encourage those loosing hope, listen to someone who needs someone to talk to, offer to pay part of school fees to help a struggling single mother, provide free advice when needed, and do this consistently without giving up. Every one who has touched my life I always pray for them. When you touch someone’s life even in a small way they will keep on praying for you for God to give you more and to bless you more. And in turn you will see victory in your life in a way you could never have imagined.

My ten months old son throws tantrums every time I snatch something from his hand that I know is dangerous if he continues playing with. Everything that he comes across he wants to put in his mouth including dirty shoes and sharp objects. He wants to play with the socket but I know that is dangerous and so I don’t allow him to play with it. He throws tantrums and cries because he thinks I am denying something good from him.
