Nothing Leaves God’s Hand until Something Leaves Your Hand


Give Generously

The principle of giving and receiving is as real as the law of gravity and law of attraction. It is a formulae to especially financial blessing. You cannot change a laid down formulae. Just like when you add 2+2 you get 4 and not 8 you cannot receive without giving.  Luke 6:38 says ”GIVE, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your lap. For with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured to you again”.  When you give people also give back to you and God will ensure that you receive in double portion. According to Revelation 18:6, you will be given back what you have given and you will be paid back double what you have done. The awesome thing about God is the principle of giving and receiving is the same as the principle of sowing and reaping or harvesting.  

When you give  it comes back to you multiplied. If you plant one seed of maize you will get a cob full of maize grains all over. One maize seed can give you even five hundred maize grains. If you plant an orange seed you will get a whole tree of oranges. When you give into someone’s life you are planting a seed that you will eventually reap. Imagine if you never sowed maize seeds at the time of planting. Then when the rest are harvesting you also get ready to harvest your maize. People will think you are out of your mind. Don’t expect to harvest if you haven’t sowed, and the same principle applies; don’t expect to receive if you don’t give. Galatians 6:7 says “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return”.

When was the last time you fed a poor person, paid fees for a struggling child, visited a children’s home, visited someone in the hospital, gave out the clothes and things you aren’t using, encouraged someone instead of condemning, let someone pack in the space you wanted to instead of yourself etc. Is your hand so stingy that the other hand cannot see what is in it? Examine yourself; are you living the same life year by year, in the same position in the workplace, no promotion, no fresh business ideas, businesses not flourishing as expected etc? May be it is time to re-examine your giving.
