Angels are heavenly beings that God has assigned to
every believer and they are waiting for us to give them assignments every day.
Angels are “ministering" spirits
sent to minister to the heirs of salvation” (Hebrews 1:14). You and me are these heirs of salvation. God’s
promise of divine protection for those who believe in Him also involves angels
too. However, to activate the power in your life takes faith.
Don’t
you think it is amazing to know that you do not have to depend on your own
ability for protection? Involve your angels now in your protection and walk
free from fear every day!
However,
your angels can either be active or dormant in your life. When you have a robot
working for you, you can activate it buy pressing an on button and de-activate
it by pressing an off button. So the question is, “How do you activate angels
in your life?” “Which button do you press for them to be active?” The answer is
in Psalms
103:20, "Bless
the Lord, ye his angels that excel in strength, that do his commandments,
hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye
ministers of his, that do his pleasure." Speaking the Word of God is one
of the keys to release angels in your life. Angels don’t just move because you
want them to, but they only hearken unto the voice of God’s Word. The dictionary meaning of ‘hearken’
means to give heed, give attention to what is said or to listen. King James
Bible dictionary defines ‘hearken’ as to observe or obey, to comply
with, or to grant, to attend to what is spoken with curiosity and eagerness or
to lend the ear or to listen.
This means angels only give attention or listen or act to the voice of
the word of God. The Word of God is as powerful when we speak just like when
God speaks it. The bible which contains the written Word of God does not have a
voice until we give it a voice by speaking and confessing it. They react
quickly with curiosity and comply with the word of God. In other words, God’s angels
act on God’s word spoken out of our mouths. They listen when we speak the Word
of God, and when we do so, angles rush to perform it in our lives.
Some people go about saying things like; “This sickness is taking too
long I will never get healed’ or “I am giving up on this dream it will never
come true”, or “Insecurity is too much in this country we will never make it
alive soon”, or “this government will make things hard for us we don’t know how
we will survive this year”. All these are negative words towards your life and
your situation. Do not expect your angels to react to these words. They are not
moved by your complains because they are wired to attend to the Word of God.
These are some of the words that align to the Word of God that angels
attend to quickly:
- “I know my I am tired and still have a lot to do but I believe I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
- “I know I have been sick for quite some time but I know God is doing something about it because by the stripes of Jesus I am healed”.
- “Insecurity is too much in this country but I will not be afraid for God is with me. He will never live me nor forsake me. He will protect me”.
- “I know I don’t have rent for this month or money to buy food but I believe God will supply all my needs according to His riches in heaven”.
- Trust
Even
in the midst of challenging times trust in God to demonstrate your commitment
to Him. Trusting God will release your angels with confidence (Psalms 34:7).
2.
Believe
According
to Luke1:45 and Matthew 18:10 God is committed to those who believe His Word.
Believe that God will protect you and that at your command angels will carry
out this aspect of your salvation.
3.
Serve God
The
angelic protection in your life is also provoked by your service to God and His
Kingdom (Psalm 91:11)
4.
Pray
Prayer
will release angels on your behalf (Matthew 26:51-53)
5.
The name of Jesus
You
can secure the attention of God’s angels by calling on the name of Jeus. They
will come to your rescue (Hebrews 1:6)
6.
Command your angels
Before
angels can work for you, you have to command and assign them. You command angels’
assistance when you speak the Word of God (Psalms 103:20)
