Your Haman will be hanged in the same gallows he has built for you

Proverbs 26: 27- " If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead." Now the bible has interesting stories and lessons all together. Now this man called Haman in the Book of Esther is a typical human being like we Kenyans. He is the prime minister (deputy president) in the King Xierxier's Kingdom. He is proud and because of his high position thinks everybody should kneel and bow before him when he is passing. But Modercai would not bow before him, because He only bows to God of Israel. This makes Haman furious and his wife  and his friends advice him to kill Modercai if it will make him feel better. Haman thinks it is a good idea (seriously?). But then he isn't satisfied of killing Modercai alone, he wants to kill the whole tribe of Modercai the Jews and so tricks the king into issue a decree of killing the Jews on a particular date. Return To ME

God's Plea for Kenya A few days ago I came across a forward on Whatsapp about  Kenyan Pastor who God recently talked to and asked him to warn Kenyans  of an forthcoming disaster if they would not pray and repent. Thinking about it I knew from the events in the Bible that God always meant what He said. Gracious Him when we do as He says (pray and repent) He always keeps His Word (forgive and lift the curse). This morning as I was reading the book of Jeremiah I realized it was full of warnings to the people of Israel. There were certain things that Israel did that God was angry about and the reason for Him sending a disaster. Those things are similar to what is going on in Kenya right now. It is better as Kenyans to know what do we do that makes GOD angry enough to send a disaster, so that we may turn away from them, pray and repent. \ We have abandoned God, offered sacrifices to other gods, have made idols and worshipped them(i.e from fortune tellers, witch doctors,...

A Life pleasing to God

Romans 12: 1-21 Romans 12:1-21 explains the kind of life God expects us to live according to His perfect will. This kind of life requires us to die of self and take up the life of Christ. Our own self demands us to look at what our body or flesh desires. More often we can become selfish and only consider what is of interest of us and not others. Our flesh would want to dwell in sin but God wants us to put on the life of Christ and live a life that is according to his perfect will as follows: Your love for God and others must be sincere Hold on to wat is good Hate what is evil Be devoted to one another in brotherly love Honor one another above yourselves Never be lazy but work hard Serve the Lord your God with a heart full of devotion Be joyful in hope-let your joy keep   you joyful Be patient in your troubles Be faithful in prayer- pray at all times Share with God’s people who are in need-Be generous Practice hospitality Bless those who persecute you, ...
