Good things come from God

The devil doesn’t have anything good to give you

The temptations of Jesus while fasting for 40 days in the desert are outlined in Mark1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13 and Matthew 4:1-11. Jesus was chosen by God as the Saviour of the world to save mankind from sin and reconcile him to our Supreme God. The devil knew if this was to happen he would be defeated and laid down a plan to destruct Jesus from this mission by taking him through a series of temptations.  In Matthew 4: 8-9 Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory [splendor, magnificence, and excellence] of them; and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”
If you notice in the verses above, the devil promises to give all the Kingdoms of the world and its glory to Jesus if He chooses to worship him. The question is what does the devil own that he should promise to give to Jesus and even each and every one of us? The Word of God says in Psalms 24:1 “The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it”. This means that the whole world belongs to God and everything that lives in it. God is the one who created heaven and earth and everything in it. Therefore he owns the world. Even Lucifer, the devil was created by God. So why would the devil give Jesus  the whole world if He worships him when in real sense he owns nothing?

The devil is a liar and is the father of lies since the beginning (John 8:44). He lies to all of us about himself. He presents to us what he actually isn’t. He presented to Jesus as the owner of the world when he actually isn’t. John 10:10 describes the devil as a thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy.  He tries to steal the world that belongs to God  to give to Jesus who is also God. John 1:1 describes Jesus as God whom everything was created through Him, for Him and without Him nothing existed.  That means the devil tried to steal what belonged to Jesus to give to Jesus.

Beloved ones, look unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Look unto our God in Heaven for everything we need. Don’t go to witchdoctors for healing, for husbands, jobs, marriage, and everything else you need. Going to consult from witchdoctors is going to seek things from the devil. The devil has nothing to give you. The Word of God says in James 1;17 that every good thing comes from God. Children, husbands, wives, jobs, ministries, health etc they are good and they are given by God. The devil does not own anything that he gives to those who go to him through witchdoctors. The devil steals from the children of God. He diverts blessings in the spiritual realm that God has released to His children and gives them to his followers. When you go to a witchdoctor for example to ask for a husband, he or she asks “Whose husband do you want?’ or “ Whose job do you want?” The devil will simply give you what belongs to someone else b

So why go to the devil for things when you can look unto God the author and finisher of all things, and who has blessings in store for you. Why consult a thief to steal from someone else to give to you when you can ask God to give you what belongs to you? God can do for you exceedingly above all you can ever imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Prayer:
Father in the Mighty name of Jesus. Thank you that all good things come from you the creator of all things including me. Forgive me for consulting other means other than you for my needs. Protect my blessings to reach me. I rebuke Satan from diverting by blessings to his followers. I receive by blessings by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Nothing Leaves God’s Hand until Something Leaves Your Hand

Give Generously The principle of giving and receiving is as real as the law of gravity and law of attraction. It is a formulae to especially financial blessing. You cannot change a laid down formulae. Just like when you add 2+2 you get 4 and not 8 you cannot receive without giving.   Luke 6:38 says ”GIVE, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your lap. For with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured to you again”.   When you give people also give back to you and God will ensure that you receive in double portion. According to Revelation 18:6 , you will be given back what you have given and you will be paid back double what you have done. The awesome thing about God is the principle of giving and receiving is the same as the principle of sowing and reaping or harvesting.   When you give   it comes back to you multiplied. If you plant one seed of maize you will...

God Always Has a Greater Plan for You

My ten months old son throws tantrums every time I snatch something from his hand that I know is dangerous if he continues playing with. Everything that he comes across he wants to put in his mouth including dirty shoes and sharp objects. He wants to play with the socket but I know that is dangerous and so I don’t allow him to play with it. He throws tantrums and cries because he thinks I am denying something good from him. But I know everything that seems attractive to him is not good and some are dangerous. Putting dirty shoes in his mouth may cause diarrhea, sharp objects may prick him and sockets may electrify him. He may cry all he wants but as a mother who loves him I will not give him something that will hurt him. In the same way, we as the children of God we have desires and things we want to have, and we believe God to give us those things. Sometimes we don’t get what we have prayed for or what we desire from God simply not because He doesn’t want us to have them, but ...

Women Christian Men Should Never Marry

Last time I talked about “Christian WomenShould Never Marry These Men” . Today it’s time to bring to limelight the women Christian women should never marry. Marriage is not a place you want to try and see if things will work but it is a lifetime commitment. It is the will of God that two married people live together happily ever after until death does them apart. However, choices lead to consequences which may either be positive or negative. The kind of a woman you choose as a wife will either make you live happily or will become a disaster to you. I may not exhaust everything but the following are the types of women Christian men should never marry. 1.     The Unbeliever I reminded women that 2 Corinthians 6:14 say “Do not be yoked with unbelievers, what business righteousness and lawlessness or what does light with darkness have in common? This means whether a woman or a man you should not marry an unbeliever. A wife who loves Jesus more than you is what you ...
